It’s A Real Food Revival!
Well, as you may have noticed (beginning with our fresh advertisement in Snap earlier this month), Nature’s Emporium has launched a new campaign driven by our “Real Food Revival” concept.
So, you may be asking: What Is the Real Food Revival?
Firstly, let’s look at the very definition of Revival:
Re.viv.al: (Re*viv”al):
1. To impart new health, vigor, or spirit to.
2. To bring back to life or consciousness
3. To restore to use or activity.
4. To restore the validity or use of.
5. To renew in the mind; recall.
This brings us to our mission:
1: Focus on total well-being from various pure sources; through whole foods, cultural traditions and diverse diets.
2: Trying not to allow the latest fads or gimmicks to dictate our choices, instead reconnecting with the wisdom of simple, natural, unrefined foods and the beneficial findings of modern science.
3: Doing our part to live with principle and responsibility by eating Locally and Seasonally
4: Reviving consciousness of the age-old truth: “We Are What We Eat”
Human Beings are truly a miracle. Our bodies are each able to take in food and from it create the building blocks of life. By eating whole foods – produced by nature – we ensure that as many of these pure materials remain as intact as possible. Whether it’s fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, or fish, eating in tune with the natural cycle offers unique nutritional benefits with each season. Furthermore, by sharing in the rich cultures and traditions of our world, we maintain a health promoting diet high in variety (and taste!).
Let’s not be deceived by claims of the “silver bullet”, that sure-ticket to freedom from the ailments of our time. Instead, we should understand that the road to health is paved by proactive lifestyle choices. The simple truth of vitality is found in a lifelong commitment to common sense, practical nutrition and the latest discoveries of science.

Nature’s Emporium Supports Belinda’s Place!
As a part of the celebration of our 1 year anniversary, Nature’s Emporium decided to reach out to a local charity – donating 100% of the ticket revenue generated at our “Wine and Cheese” Gala Event to Belinda’s House. This charity works directly with homeless, single women – hundreds of whom are every year turned away from shelters dedicated to victims of domestic violence, or for women with families.
The night was a great success, with customers, owners and employees alike sharing in the wonderful food and drink – for a great cause!
Over the course of the evening, we featured a slideshow presentation which outlined the plight that homeless, single women face and how Belinda’s Place was set to begin creating change, inspiring hope and building a future for them.
We now wish to present our video for you, and hope that you enjoy it – and perhaps even consider supporting the cause yourself!
To find out more, please visit their website at:
As always, thanks for watching! Stay tuned for more!

Natures Emporium
“Me to We Style” right from “Nature’s Closet”
Here at Nature’s Emporium, we take pride in sourcing the origins of everything we sell and making sure the products have been produced or obtained in a conscious, ethical and sustainable way. These ethics spread throughout every department, including our one of a kind clothing department, “Nature’s Closet”.

“Me to We Style” – one of the many brands we offer, made from Organic Cotton is one of the most sustainable clothing companies on the market today. Here’s a list of processes that take place in the production of their lines:
“In the field: It starts in countries such as Turkey, India and Pakistan, where local farmers till organic fields. Independent agencies monitor the process to ensure organic standards, which include good working conditions for farmers.
Nurturing: No synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, insecticides or defoliants are used. Natural methods are also used to keep weeds and insects away.
Watering: Organic farmers use less water that non-organic because natural soil is better able to retain water. And since no chemicals are used, any runoff into streams and rivers is not toxic.
Harvesting: Workers pick the cotton by hand or machine. Independent agencies ensure good working hours and conditions.
Processing: The cotton gin (the place it’s processed) is cleaned to make sure nothing contaminates the purity of the organic cotton.
Spinning: In the country where the cotton is grown, workers spin it into soft yarns, which are then imported to the Canadian warehouse.
Knitting: Four types of cotton yarn are turned into a variety of fabrics by workers in Canada.
Dyeing: The fabrics are dyed using environmentally friendly practices to protect water and the environment.
Sewing: The fabrics move to another Canadian factory to be cut, sewn and styled into clothing.
Final touches: Products are completed with silkscreen images and embroidery in Toronto.”

Thanks Stef!
